What is the Omega 600w Digi-Pro Digital Dimmable Ballast used for?
The Omega Digital Ballast is not the same as any ordinary dimmable ballast available on the market. These systems give growers complete versatility and performance from a single lighting system. Likewise, this fully adjustable digital ballast will run at 660w super lumen, 600w, 400w and 250w settings. The super lumen technology increases ballast output by 10% for maximum lamp performance, therefore providing you with the best yields possible.
Furthermore, these ballasts can be easily adjusted to reduce the output of your lamp when not as much power is needed. So when running a 600w lamp you can reduce the output to 400w or 250w. Alternatively, increase it to super lumen 660w to give your plants a healthy boost.

How to use the Omega 600w Digi-Pro Digital Dimmable Ballast
The Omega 600w digital dimmable ballast runs fairly cool in use, however, you should still place it on a flat surface. To use simply connect the input lead of your reflector to the output lead of the ballast. It is important that you ensure the cable isn’t tight and does not come into contact with anything hot.
In addition, use the power-output switch to select your desired output wattage. Although, be aware that you should use the same wattage ballast for the wattage of your lamp. Therefore a 400w lamp should be powered only by a 400w ballast.
